A new road & parking below our property is under construction. Until it is complete, you'll have to alight at this road (above our property) followed by a 2-min walk through a forest patch.

RESERVED / PREPAID / SHARED TAXI OR BUS

If you reach by air to Bagdogra Airport or by train to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you can reserve a car with us (in advance) or prepaid booth available or use connecting public transport - auto or cycle rickshaws to Siliguri, bus from the bus stand or shared taxi from the Kalimpong taxi stand from Siliguri Panitanki. 

NH-10 & SH-12 ROUTE

By road, Kalimpong is reachable from Siliguri on NH-10 along the river Teesta passing Sevoke, Kalijhora, Rambi, Teesta Bridge, Chitrey Zero Point from which SH-12 ascends towards Kalimpong passing Chitrey forest, 6th Mile Bridge, 6th Mile Sinclairs Fatak, 8th Mile Tashi Petrol Pump and finally Town.

All roads in Kalimpong seem to lead to Art Mile!  

You have 3 optional routes to reach our property from 8th Mile/ 6th Mile/ Town. We have our sign boards to direct you along the way.

FROM TEESTA SH-12 - EASY & RECOMMENDED

Drive to 8th Mile Tashi Petrol Pump and take a right and drive up on Lower Bridle Road (erroneously marked as Upper Cart Road on Apple Maps), passing Kali Temple, St. Teresa's Church, past the St. Augustine's Road, Chhibo Approach Road junction up to Mangal Dara, then from the shop with a Blue plastic roof, take the lower road towards Chhibo Busty. Drive past Bhikshu Kothi, Dr. Ajoy Sitling's House and you will find our sign board with steps going down just before you reach Arpana Guru Aama's house.

FROM TEESTA SH-12 - TRICKY, STEEP & NARROW (erroneously marked on Google Maps)

A shortcut is available up from 6th Mile Sinclairs Fatak along the Chhibo-Approach Road through Purbong Busty, left towards Rockvale Ground, right towards Standard Nursery, UP towards the Rehab (Do not take the bridge), at the meeting of the Lower Bridle Road, take a right to Mangal Dara, then from the shop with a Blue plastic roof, take the lower road to Chhibo Busty. Drive past Bhikshu Kothi, Dr. Ajoy Sitling's House and you will find our sign board with steps going down just before you reach Arpana Guru Aama's house. 

FROM KALIMPONG TOWN

If you are coming from Kalimpong Town, you can either follow the route from 8th Mile Tashi HP Petrol Pump OR take the Right at the Junction after the Town Hall called Saat Do Baato along the Upper Cart Road, past the Children's Park, no turns all the way to Grave Golai after which take the Lower Bridle Road going down to Mangal Dara, then from the shop with a Blue Plastic roof, turn left taking the lower road to Chhibo Busty. Drive past Bhikshu Kothi, Dr. Ajoy Sitling's House and you will find our sign board with steps going down just before you reach Arpana Guru Aama's house.

SHARED / RESERVED TAXI SERVICES from Kalimpong Town

Kalimpong Town offers taxi/ cab services on a reserved (on Main Road as well) or sharing basis from D. S. Gurung Road, Near Dambar Chowk. The ride is about 10 min. However, its a 15 min walk down from Biren ko dokan (Biren's Shop - Green Outdoor seating place with a roof) then down to Art Mile through a forest patch. You can also call us and we can send you a reserved car to pick you up from town.
